Finding Free Photos to Use on Your Blog
Today one of the readers of About Web Logs asked me to put together a list of places where bloggers can find free images to use on their blogs. You can follow the link to read my post about the top 5 sites to find free photos for your blog. Below is an example of a free photo from FreeFoto.com.
The most important thing to remember as a blogger is you should always have permission to use any photo or image published on your blog. The sites in my top 5 list offer a wide variety of photos you can use for free with simple attribution and a link back to the source, but it's essential that you always check the copyright restrictions for each photo you plan to publish on your blog to be certain you're adhering to the legal requirements. When in doubt, always contact the owner of the photo and request permission to use it on your blog.
