Navigating the Sea of Blogging Software

One of the first questions beginner bloggers ask and need to answer is which blogging software they'll use. At the end of the day, every blogging software will give you the ability to publish posts on the topic of your choice, but each blogging software from Blogger to Wordpress, and everything in between, offers slightly different variations of capabilities beyond the ability to publish posts.

Before you jump into a blogging software, keep in mind that while switching from one blogging software to another later is possible, it can be a bit challenging, and it doesn't always work as perfectly as you might want it to. Instead of creating headaches for yourself later, take some time up-front to research the various blogging software platforms available and choose the one that will work the best for you in terms of meeting your current needs and your long term goals for your blog.
