Design Custom Stripes for Your Blog's Background

Sunday April 6, 2008

Have you seen any blogs with cool stripe designs? I have been seeing them a lot lately in headers and along the sides of blog columns as the background image.

If you'd like to add some customization to your blog's appearance by adding stripes the design, try StripeGenerator.com. You can create your own stripe image then download it to use on your blog, or you can choose from one of the stripe designs that another user created. You can even modify stripe designs that other people have shared to help get you started. It's fun to play around with!

Another cool feature of StripeGenerator.com is a button that lets you take your stripe design and automatically turn it into a tartan pattern on TartanMaker.com with one click.

Hi Susan,

I have just found this post and have just made my own stripe. Though now I don’t know how to upload it to my Blogger blog? The StripeGenerator site has no instructions. Is this something you can tell me?

Many thanks,

Meg
