Add Targeted eBay Auctions to Your Blog with the Wordpress PhpBay Plug-in
Here's a great way to monetize your blog (or advertise your own eBay auctions). The PhpBay plug-in for Wordpress allows you to easily add customized eBay auctions to your blog.
PhpBay costs $49, so you'll want to consider whether or not it's an investment you want to make upfront. I have heard positive things from users so far who were able to configure it to work with their existing Wordpress blogs quickly and easily. If you operate a niche blog that has products available on eBay inherently associated with it or if you sell things on eBay you want to promote through your blog, then this might be a great Wordpress plug-in for you!
The PhpBay Wordpress plug-in operates through the eBay affiliate advertising program, so you'll earn a commission on each item sold via your blog.

Hi—-Susan:
I recently installed the PhpBay plugin (on the blog below) and my main concern with it, is the lack of customization options for it.

It does not blend in well with my blogs design. But i do like the keyword feature, where it matches blog content. I love that. Also there is a FREE version, which is the one i have, but because it is free, it is also limited.
All in all, a good idea and another revenue stream. Worth a look.
Missy.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience, Missy. It’s great to hear about the pros and cons.
I tried the plug-in and install many shopping blogs with the pro version. I really like it. I found that It is a good idea to build the shopping in the front and put a blog in the background.
The blog with longtail keywords can bring traffic in the website. Another idea is to use the scheduled feature of wordpress.
There are many tool to automate the post creation. I have one in my website called vrecloner
Hope this help
Vreforcash, those are great tips. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Susan
The latest versions really are excellent and offer a wealth of configuration options. One of its strengths are that it fits in perfectly with just about any theme, unlike competing products where you can easily get a “tail wagging the dog” scenario as they force you into their templates.
The new version 3.x now has a new sidebar widget, and free geotargeting capability.
phpBay is very extensible, and I have also written several plugins myself that adds to its functionality even further.
A revenue sharing plugin which is available for free, and allows partners to share a sites income into their own EPN accounts.
A plugin to reformat the auction titles neater, also free.
A plugin that automatically creates new content for your phpBay site from keywords that visitors enter into the sites search box. Costs a few bucks, but very cheap for what it does.
I’m also working on a feature rich auto content generator and auto poster for it, which will be available soon.
I hope this persuades more people to grab the the very cool phpBay plugin and start building some eBay stores.
Best regards
Alan
Hi Susan & phpBayers/eBayers
Just a quick note to mention another new plugin released. This one is for anyone with an EPN account and Wordpress.
Its a handy little chap, that displays your EPN commissions and sales directly inside your Wordpress administration panel. No need to keep logging in to your EPN dashboard.
Nice little time saver.
Just click my name and you will find it.
I wish you good profits with your sites.
Alan
