I’m totally hooked on Windows Live Writer. I use it for all my blogging now — here at About.com plus three other blogs. The only bug I’ve found is that it doesn’t always behave well with Javascript, but I’ve been able to work around that. I also wish they had a quick way to show word and character counts — a pretty common need for bloggers.

That’s a great point, Scott. I hadn’t thought of having a word or character count accessible through a click or two in Windows Live Writer, but that would be a great feature!

Thanks for sharing, Becky! That is great news for paid bloggers who need to track the number of words they write in each blog post!
