Monday June 2, 2008

Have you seen a poll or survey embedded into a blog post or on a blog's sidebar and wondered how the blogger did that? There are a number of websites that will allow bloggers to create free blog polls and surveys. PollDaddy.com is one of those websites, and it's free and easy to use.

You can follow the link to read my complete review of PollDaddy to create free blog polls.

If you've created free blog polls and surveys in the past, what programs did you use and what did you think of it? Leave a comment and share your opinion with About.com Web Logs readers.

(1) David Nicolosi says:

The number of polling solutions on the web is very limited, so Poll Daddy was smart entering the market when they did. They’ve always been uncontested when it comes to polls as there really hasn’t been a viable alternative… until now.

Poll Authority has entered the crowded online polling industry with a powerful, customizable, and full-featured polling solution that is every bit as strong as that of Poll Daddy’s for only a fraction of the cost. With a robust user interface, everyone from novices to experts will be creating professional polls in seconds.

Check out http://www.modpoll.com It has a lot of nice features and it’s totally free. It’s relatively new and new features seem be getting added weekly. It also runs on Google’s Appengine software so you don’t have to worry about performance. You can have an unlimited number of polls and responses.
