Tell a Friend Widget Makes Sharing Blog Content Easy

A new "Tell a Friend Widget" has been launched by SocialTwist. It's a free widget that allows websites and blogs to increase the online exposure of their content. The widget looks and acts a bit like "Share This" social bookmarking widgets, but the Tell a Friend Widget allows you to share your content through different online venues. Visitors to your blog can share your content with their friends via social networks, email, instant messaging, their own blogs and more without leaving your blog by simply clicking on the Tell a Friend Widget.

According to the SocialTwist press release, the Tell a Friend Widget also gives website and blog owners statistics about what content is being shared by their readers. Those statistics could be invaluable to bloggers who are trying to increase blog traffic by allowing them to understand what content their readers are most interested in and then capitalizing on that knowledge.

You can follow the link to view a video that shows how Tell a Friend works. It's an interesting concept and it's free, so it might be worth a try. What do you think?

their widget is already outdated and has security problems. I personally fear to leave credentials from my social networks anywhere… that’s why I’m using widget from InviteBox ( http://invitebox.com ). This tell-a-friend widget has more features and doesn’t ask to enter passwords and etc.
