Poll - Do You Track Your Blog Stats?

Friday June 19, 2009

Time for a poll! This week I'd like to hear whether or not you track your blog's stats using some kind of analytic application such as Google Analytics, StatCounter, or SiteMeter. Take the poll below and tell us what you think!

You can also follow the links to learn more about blog statistic trackers and blog analytics terminology.

I am a new blogger. I use Sitemeter in my blog. Does it cause any bad effect to use Stat counter? I have used Flagcounter but I removed it from site before 15 days.

Thanks

I used Sitemeter for a while, but then it suddenly stopped working – stats levelled off for a few weeks, then went up by ONE visit (wot?!), then stopped for good. So far i’m only using the stats function that comes with Wordpress.com, but it’s neither perfect nor in-depth. (Not complaining – it doesn’t claim to be either, and it’s free!) For instance, what Wordpress tells me about referrals from Twitter via ow.ly links (set up in HootSuite) don’t tally with what HootSuite tells me. I was waiting to be able to ’shop around’ really.
