Niche blogging is a hot topic across the blogosphere these days. In simplest terms, a niche blog is one that is highly focused on a very specific topic. Rather than writing a blog about a broad topic that undoubtedly has a lot of competition for traffic and advertisers (particularly from large and popular blogs and Web sites), a niche blog focuses on a narrow sub-topic. For example, rather than blogging about professional basketball, you could blog about a specific team.
