Have You Upgraded to Wordpress 2.8.4?

Wednesday September 23, 2009

Last month, Wordpress launched a security upgrade for Wordpress.org users. If you upgraded your blog to Wordpress 2.7 earlier this year, then you need to be aware of the Wordpress 2.8.4 security upgrade.

Thanks to the 1-click upgrade feature in Wordpress 2.7, upgrading to Wordpress 2.8.4 is very easy and takes just a minute or two to complete. I upgraded my Wordpress.org blogs to version 2.8.4 using the upgrade feature within Wordpress 2.7 a few weeks ago, and I'm happy to say that I've had no problems with any of them since the upgrade.

You can follow the link to learn more about the Wordpress 2.8.4 security release.

And if you haven't upgraded your Wordpress.org blog to Wordpress 2.7 yet, follow the preceding link for easy instructions.
