Review of PicApp as a Source for Blog Images and Photos

Wednesday September 30, 2009

If you write a blog about celebrities, sports, politics, news, or any other subject that could benefit from photos of current events and people that you can legally use on your blog, then PicApp is a good option. It's free to use and offers a good selection of images, however, images do include some ad code (used to pay the image owners). You can follow the link to read my complete review of PicApp. Be sure to click the "Write a Review" button at the bottom of the page to add your own review of PicApp!

And in case you're not familiar with the rules related to posting images on your blog, be sure to read about copyrights and fair use as well as about Creative Commons licenses to make sure you're not doing anything on your blog that could get you in trouble.

Where do you get images that you can legally republish on your blog? Leave a comment and share your favorite sources! I typically check Flickr first followed by Stock Xchange and MorgueFile. Here's my list of sources for free images you can use on your blog, and here's some tips for finding images you can use on your blog from Flickr.
