In recent weeks, there have been numerous security attacks against self-hosted WordPress blogs and websites. There are many different types of security issues that can arise for any website, and the most recent WordPress problems are part of a brute-force attack from illegal botnets.
There are a variety of things you can do to secure your WordPress blog, beginning with ensuring your passwords are extremely hard to crack.
