Weight Watchers Hires Popular Vlogger, Faint Starlite

Faint Starlite is a 24-year old woman from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her real name is Esther Brady, and she's known throughout the blogosphere as a popular video blogger. She's been vlogging since 2006 about various topics including her weight loss thanks to the help of Weight Watchers. She quickly found a crowd of fans visiting her vlogs.

When Weight Watchers decided to join the blogosphere, the company found Faint Starlite's vlogs about her own experience with Weight Watchers too good to refuse. Weight Watchers hired her to be its brand ambassador and post weekly vlog updates as well as interact with the online world.

In less than two weeks from Faint Starlite's debut on the new Weight Watchers vlog on MySpace, over 3,000 people had signed on as friends. Weight Watchers screens Faint's vlogs before they're posted to the MySpace site, but the company's intent is to let Faint do her vlogs basically as she always has and let her fanbase continue to grow.
