Yahoo 360 Shutting Down

Yahoo's social media site, Yahoo! 360, is closing on July 13, 2009. If you have an account with a blog or other information on Yahoo 360, and you don't want to lose it, you have to create a new Yahoo! profile and move your information prior to July 13th. There are instructions and helpful information available on the Yahoo! 360 website.

I must say that Yahoo! 360 is not something I ever even checked out. So, I guess the decision to shut it down doesn’t surprise me. All of the applications you’ve mentioned in links have their own distinct character. Everyone’s got their favorite (or favorites), but I suspect that there will always be room for new platforms so long as they add something unique and aren’t created simply for the purpose of adding another feature.
Thanks for the info, since Yahoo 360 not so popular among the blogger I think.
