If you use Wordpress.org as your blogging application and need to backup your blog, then a new plugin released by the team at iThemes is for you!
Backing up your blog is very important, but it can be a challenge if you're not tech-savvy. The new iThemes Wordpress plugin, BackupBuddy, handles the process of backing up your blog, widgets, and plugins in a snap. The plugin also makes it easy to move your blog to another host.
Since BackupBuddy was just released last week, new users are finding some glitches, but the iThemes team is working quickly to fix them. Yesterday, they announced that the BackupBuddy plugin is working on 90% of server installations.
I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like this could really be a great Wordpress plugin. I know that iThemes creates great Wordpress themes (follow the link to read my review of the iThemes Flexx theme), so I'm sure their plugins will be good, too.

im hoping there are thesis users out there with problems. im actually having a couple and i believe they might be related.
1. thickbox feature doesn’t work. it’s checked and it says it worked.
2. i cannot get the thesis compatibilty pack to work on thesis 1.7. how exactly do i install it? i extracted the filed in wp-content/themes/thesis_17 and nothing happened.
i just have a feeling something isn’t quite working right and it’s throwing everything off. i have no clue what it is, but i have that feeling. im hoping there are some other people using this plugin who may have also noticed something similar.
I’ve said that least 1482013 times. The problem this like that is they are just too compilcated for the average bird, if you know what I mean
