Step 7 - Set Your Posts to Ping Technorati and Other Websites

Don't forget to take a few minutes to review the "Options" settings under your "Tools" menu tab to make sure everything is set up the way you like it.

This is also a good time to set up your posts to automatically ping Technorati, Google, Feedburner and other websites. Note, the pinging feature will only be available if it's available in your online blogging platform. You can find a list of websites to include in the "Ping Servers" section of Windows Live Writer's options through the Windows Live Writer Help blog.
